Grave Encounters (2011) - The Vicious Brothers

I love movies that feature a really subtle type of fear. The long con of horror. It isn't always about tearing someones guts out. Of course it can be. Grave Encounters takes all of the creepy effects from Paranormal Activity and actually ads a physical element to compliment the already terrifying ambiance. 
A few years ago I was stuck on a Ghost Hunters binge on SyFy, or maybe it was actually Sci-Fi back then. I liked it and for the most part it was pretty enjoyable. That's just how I felt about this movie. Like I said before, this movie really speaks to the type of horror that I enjoy and it does it really well. 
The film is a found footage piece about a Ghost Hunting group led by a dramatic jackass. The setting is based in an old insane asylum that's crazy haunted. The group trudges around for a while looking to make contact with a ghost and end up getting so much more.
