The Exorcist (1973) - William Friedken

So I took a request for this movie that was submitted to me. The Exorcist, is a classic and almost no brainer here. This is one of the best horror movies ever made, this movie gets underneath your skin with such finesse that it makes you cringe watching this poor girl getting utterly destroyed onscreen. The movie's acting is superb, Ellen Burstyn, Linda Blair, and Jason miller turn in outstanding performances. The general feel of the movie makes you just feel eerie. The special effects were so awesome in this as well, especially for the 70's! I always have such a pleasure watching this with friends. The only downside that they tell me of is the long winded conversations and slow pace. I enjoy the story and therefore don't mind the slow moving of the movie, but hey, that's me. So in case you don't know... Pazuzu possesses a little girl named Regan and the Catholic Church has to do an Exorcism to pop him out. Add to that a stellar cast and everything that I listed
